Ring Day

Ring Day is held each fall and spring to present WVU class rings to those students who have attained junior status. This special moment is shared with family and friends. Each recipient’s name is penned into the Ring Day Book, a historical record of those who have received the official class ring. Reservations for participants and guests are required. Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering & Mineral Resources Academic Achievement Recognition Ceremony

Latin honors will be presented at this ceremony, and students named to the President’s and Dean’s list will be recognized, along with advisors, researchers, and students receiving awards. The 2012 School of Journalism Spring Honors Ceremony will recognize the School’s top graduates, students graduating with Latin honors and inductees into the Kappa Tau Alpha national honorary society. Passing of the Rifle Ceremony

Current WVU Mountaineer, Brock Burwell, will pass the rifle on to the 2012-2013 Mountaineer during this ceremony.

Eberly College of Arts & Sciences Awards and Honors Recognition Ceremony and Luncheon
April 21, 10:30 a.m.

The outstanding achievements of students, faculty, and staff of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences will be recognized at this special ceremony. Recipients of the college’s endowed scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year will also be recognized, as well as 2012 Eberly College Alumni Award recipient, William Courtney. The Center for Women’s Studies Annual Honors & Awards Ceremony

Graduating seniors (minors and majors), faculty, and other people who have contributed to the program over the year will be recognized, including Outstanding Senior and Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant. Scholarships will be awarded for the Velma Miller/West Virginia Alliance for Women’s Studies Graduate Scholar Award, the Winifred South Knutti Graduate Scholarship in Women’s Studies, the Sallie Lowther Norris Showalter Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Related Disciplines, and the Judith Gold Stitzel Endowment for Excellence in Women’s Studies Teaching and Learning.

Communication Studies Lambda Pi Eta Induction Ceremony
